Visual Narratives about Death
Visual narratives about death, grief and the sense of loss in adolescence • July 2018 • 148 x 210 mm • 21 zines + archive box 165 x 220 x 40 mm • Digital Print on Renova Print 100g; Munken Pure 90g; Clairefontaine grey and cream 80g • Language: Portuguese. These visual narratives are organized in a set of 21 self-published zines as a final editorial object concerning a master’s degree project (2016-18) in Image Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Porto. Besides the printing, all stages – digitalizing, photographing, editing, assembling and sewing – were kept personal, giving structure to the intimate theme of the project where the illustrator is seen as an author.
